Covenant has very active adults. We have many activities and events in our church. Adult Education classes at Covenant happen on Sunday mornings and occasionally weeknights throughout the year. Established curriculums, as well as series presented and designed by staff, Covenant members, and guests are part this ongoing ministry. You will find classes that focus on Sunday lectionary, topical concerns present in the world in which we live, help in living out our faith, and Biblical study throughout the year. No matter where you find yourself in this journey of faith, Covenant Adult Education classes will provide nourishment, education and fellowship as we learn and travel together. Here are some of the things we do for fun around here:
We have a fun inter-generational potluck picnic in the summer. It's a great community event!
There is a Women's Bible Study at noon on Wednesdays, and Wednesdays at 6pm, everyone is welcome to the Open Bible Study led by Pastor Seth Finch!
Small evening groups are organized to bring members together for dialogue and dinner.
Thematic dinners are held in members' homes. This is an eclectic intergenerational mix of singles and couples
Meet the 3rd Thursday of the month at 11:30 AM in one of Albuquerque's many fine restaurants.
Held the 1st Saturday in December, separate courses are hosted in participants' homes. Each course has a different combination of participants, enabling all to socialize with as many as possible. Dessert is hosted at the church.
Covenant's R.O.M.E.O. (Retired Old Men Eating Out) group meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at noon for lunch and fellowship at Ortega's Mexican restaurant, on Wyoming near Comanche. If you are retired or still working and can spare an hour once a month, please join us.
